The Situation: Consumers don’t like banks. At all. Banner hadn’t done research in very long time, did not know their customer, and were unsure why they banked with them.
Program/Brand Goals: Prove Banner is on your side. We conducted consumer research and translated those research findings into a creative brief that focused on featuring products that prove we’re on your side: Free ATM, Nickel back every on debit purchases. Media mix included TV commercials, radio spots, and an integrated online, print, and billboard campaign.
The Outcome: Our support of Banner Bank lasted just over 2 years before transferring to an internal team. During our time new customer acquisition targets were exceeded in every market. The result on the Banner Bank stock price was a more than doubling ($18 to $41).
